Rest Area Attendant

U.S. Facilities, Inc., a consolidated building maintenance services company, is currently accepting resumes for the position of Welcome Center Rest Area Attendant for the Hardeeville, SC Welcome Center. This role is ideal for someone who values a strong work ethic, enjoys a flexible schedule, and likes meeting interesting people.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks as directed.
• Grounds Maintenance:
  • Empty trash and recycling containers as needed.
  • Sweep parking lots and sidewalks, pick up litter.
  • Remove snow from sidewalks and apply ice melt as directed.
  • Maintain flower beds and non-paved areas by removing litter.
  • Clean picnic areas and grills.
• Building Maintenance:
  • Interior: Replace light bulbs, perform all other maintenance needs as requested.
  • Janitorial:
    • Sweep and mop support rooms, lobbies, entrance ways, and common areas.
    • Clean countertops, fixtures, windows, and dust surfaces.
    • Vacuum carpeted areas.
    • Empty garbage containers in office and common areas.
    • Clean and disinfect sinks, urinals, toilets, etc.
    • Fill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
    • Clean and disinfect kitchen areas and mirrors.
    • Strip and wax floors.
    • Handle all other Welcome Center needs.

Qualifications

• Willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
• Possess a current government-issued identification.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the assigned work location.
• Able to lift 25-50 pounds.
• Comply with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.
• Prior janitorial experience preferred.

Pay

$16.00 per hour

Schedule

Sunday to Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
