About the role
Flecha Cantina is looking for a passionate, hands-on Field Training Manager to build and drive a best-in-class training culture across all of our locations. This role is for someone who thrives on the floor, leads by example, and takes personal pride in the team’s growth.
Onboarding & New Hire Training
- Design, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding programs for FOH and BOH team members across all Flecha Cantina locations
- Facilitate immersive, hands-on training experiences rooted in Flecha’s culture, menu, and hospitality standards
- Partner with location managers to schedule, track, and certify new hires through all training milestones
- Serve as the primary trainer for key positions, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and hourly leads
- Ensure all new team members complete alcohol awareness, food safety, and compliance training requirements
Ongoing Development & Standards
- Conduct regular floor visits across all locations to observe service quality, identify coaching opportunities, and reinforce standard
- Lead ongoing skills training — menu knowledge, beverage education, upselling techniques, and guest experience
- Develop and maintain training materials including guides, checklists, videos, and reference tools
- Partner with managers to run monthly or quarterly team refreshers, menu rollaouts, and skills workshops
- Champion consistency in brand voice, service flow, and hospitality standards across every Flecha location
Leadership & Culture
- Act as a culture carrier for the Flecha brand — modeling the energy, professionalism, and hospitality we expect from every team member
- Build strong relationships with location managers and GMs to understand performance gaps and training priorities
- Identify high-potential team members and support their development into leadership roles
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team environment where learning is encouraged and celebrated
- Serve as a resource and mentor for hourly trainers and certified training staff at each location
Reporting & Multi-Location Coordination
- Track training completion, certification status, and performance metrics across all locations
- Report regularly to ownership and operations leadership on training effectiveness and team readiness
- Support new location openings with structured pre-opening training programs and staff ramp-up
- Care for cross-location training schedules, ensure trainer coverage, and manage training calendars
- Identify trends in team performance data and proactively recommend training interventions

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple locations and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Google Workspace and familiarity with training or LMS platforms a plus
- Food Handler’s Card and TIPS/ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as the role and locations require
- Self-starter with high ownership mentality and the ability to work independently
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
