Field Technician (Mechanic) (Pump, Power & HVAC)

Primary Responsibilities
- Create, assign, and monitor work orders
- Track machine service intervals
- Order parts
- Diagnose issues using real-time data
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC equipment, and oil-free air compressors
- Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop and on customer locations
- Work individually or with other technicians to set up and operate equipment
- Aid in the training of lower-level technicians
- Maintain paperwork and electronic documentation of work performed
- Assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts
- Stay knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old to operate company vehicles
- Ability to move, stand, stoop, and bend freely
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- EPA 608 certification is preferred (can be obtained within 6-12 months of employment)
