Pape’ Machinery, the premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking an experienced Field Technician to join their Construction & Forestry Division team in Kent, WA. About the role
As our Field Technician / Mechanic, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure optimal performance and uptime. You’ll travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform high-quality repairs, interact with customers, and tackle challenging jobs with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment in the field.
- Perform top-notch maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
- Interact with customers and provide reliable service at their locations.
- Work independently with self-motivation and minimal supervision.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Self-motivation and ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Must provide own tools.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (Pape’ maintains a drug-free workplace).
Pay
$24.94–36.16/hour, depending on experience.
