Field Technician III

Location: 668 Suemac Road, Jacksonville, FL 32254

Pay dependent on experience, with a discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus. Paid weekly.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (overtime eligible)

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment or rental background
• Proficient troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines (including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems)
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive trains
• Must own necessary tools (averaging $10,000+ in value)
• Experience with industrial pumps, power equipment, and HVAC is a plus
• TWIC or Safety Council OSHA Basic Plus certification preferred (will need to obtain if not held)
• Basic computer knowledge for service work orders, parts ordering, and service-related tasks
• Team-player attitude, self-starter, and motivated to succeed

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, and test equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications
• Perform routine service, including checking fluid levels, changing fluids, and lubricating equipment
• Perform novice-level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW)
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records
