Responsibilities

  • Lead a field crew.
  • Read and understand customer detail plans.
  • Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
  • Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations (OSHA, etc.).
  • Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD.
  • Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
  • Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
  • Review peer work product.
  • Support the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures.
  • Operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment.
  • Lead crews when the foreman is absent, and demonstrate DC/AC electrical skills.
  • Update equipment office records and installation specifications to document "as built" accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Safety is a part of your day-to-day work.
  • Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
  • High school diploma or GED; a technical degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results-oriented.
  • Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
  • Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commissioning and integration experience required.
  • Mobile Access Certification is a plus.
  • Ability to work on ladders and demonstrate manual dexterity.
  • Must be adaptable to changing environments.
  • Must be able to pick up 50 lbs. and work up to 12 hours.
  • Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively.
  • Must be able to work out of the market or away from home as work demand requires.

Pay

$26-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
