Responsibilities
- Lead a field crew.
- Read and understand customer detail plans.
- Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
- Adhere to all company and industry standards/regulations (OSHA, etc.).
- Prepare drawings of field sketches using AutoCAD.
- Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
- Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
- Review peer work product.
- Support the maintenance and operation of generators, HVAC, and telecommunication site infrastructures.
- Operate aerial lifts, man lifts, skid steers, and aerial platform equipment.
- Lead crews when the foreman is absent, and demonstrate DC/AC electrical skills.
- Update equipment office records and installation specifications to document "as built" accurately.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Safety is a part of your day-to-day work.
- Track record of completing work with a high level of quality.
- High school diploma or GED; a technical degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience is highly preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results-oriented.
- Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.
- Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with AT&T or Verizon Wireless Networks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Commissioning and integration experience required.
- Mobile Access Certification is a plus.
- Ability to work on ladders and demonstrate manual dexterity.
- Must be adaptable to changing environments.
- Must be able to pick up 50 lbs. and work up to 12 hours.
- Must be available to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively.
- Must be able to work out of the market or away from home as work demand requires.
Pay
$26-$30 per hour, depending on experience.
