About the role

Responsible for leading a team of software developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying new applications. Manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure high-quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of software developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying new applications.
  • Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure high-quality standards are met through rigorous testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Continuously improve processes and tools to enhance team productivity and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in software development and project management.
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team of software developers.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with software development tools and platforms such as JIRA, Jenkins, and Docker.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with database design and SQL.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.

Pay
