Field Support Team Reliability Centered Maintenance Specialist-1
Home based out of Virginia Beach, VA. The candidate will serve as a company engineering representative at a base or remote locations.
About the role
Performs engineering services such as engineering studies and analysis, technology planning, systems architecture development and integration, testing and evaluation, systems operations, construction, control of systems and components, integrated logistics support, modeling and simulation, configuration management, and systems acquisition and life-cycle management. Advises customer and contractor personnel of company requirements for products and services, support equipment and electronic equipment installations of new and existing SURTASS operations.
Responsibilities
- Apply the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) System to manage, maintain, update, monitor, and report all SURTASS ship variants Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
- Develop new PMS procedures for inclusion in the PMS system with technical input provided by the equipment SMEs, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), etc.
- Develop and maintain training related to Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
- Evaluate effectiveness of training activities and the Planned Maintenance System (PMS).
Requirements
- Qualified as a Work Center Supervisor in the Navy’s Planned Maintenance System (PMS) or equivalent.
- Five (5) years' experience working in a complex planned maintenance system.
- Qualified as a Maintenance and Material Management Coordinator (3MC) in the Navy’s Planned Maintenance System (PMS) or equivalent.
- Three (3) years’ experience with the Navy’s Planned Maintenance System Management Information System (PMSIS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a task lead as required.
- Secret or higher Security Clearance.
Qualifications
- Experience with SURTASS missions systems.
Pay
$80,000 (good-faith estimate; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws).
