About the role
Provides expert and second tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians. Provides technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems. Tests, trains, and fields support to customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services. Provides expertise for the resolution of technical problems, troubleshoots products, and modifies products to customer requirements. Maintains network stability through advanced troubleshooting, timely resolution of incidents, and proactive maintenance to provide the maximum availability and optimal Mean Time to Repair. Partners with developers and engineers to reduce reoccurring incidents. Answers questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization and usage of designated systems and services. Travel is frequent and work is generally performed at the customer site.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert and second-tier technical support and analysis to field engineers and technicians.
- Offer technical advice and guidance on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of technical products, programs, and systems.
- Test, train, and provide field support to customers regarding technical aspects of designated systems and services.
- Resolve technical problems, troubleshoot products, and modify products to meet customer requirements.
- Maintain network stability through advanced troubleshooting, timely incident resolution, and proactive maintenance.
- Provide training to customers on designated systems and services.
- Partner with developers and engineers to reduce recurring incidents.
- Answer questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of designated systems and services.
Requirements
- 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years with no degree.
- An Active/Current Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience; Master’s degree and 0 years of relevant experience; or High School Diploma/GED and four (4+) years of relevant experience.
- Possess knowledge of designated systems.
- Willingness to work outside of normal work hours.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.
Pay
Target Salary Range: $80,000 - $128,000. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
