Field Supervisor- Hopkinsville

About the role

Assists field staff in delivering quality care to clients, assists in staff education, supervises personal support staff, and participates in special projects and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Supports field staff in meeting client qualifications
• Conducts staff education including orientation, proficiency check-offs, and annual education programs
• Supervises and provides guidance to personal support staff
• Ensures adherence to insurance and state regulations
• Schedules and performs supervisory visits to client homes
• Reports negative comments and critical incidents to upper management
• Assists in providing disciplinary action to field employees
• Performs field staff performance evaluations
• Assists in client care and covers shifts as needed
• Maintains agency compliance with relevant regulations

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of Personal Support Services program framework and organization
• Knowledge of supervising field staff
• Physical capability to perform job duties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and in groups
• Reliable transportation
• Age eighteen or older
• Ability to lift, carry, and move light and heavy items
• Good judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to walk and climb stairs
