Field Superintendnt- ARB
Job Description
The Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing product installations throughout the North Alabama region, exceeding customer expectations while maximizing profitability. The Field Superintendent works with both in-house staff and subcontractors. They ensure all quality and safety standards are met on each project, coordinate product and equipment availability with the customer and installation teams, resolve any bottlenecks, and escalate problems as necessary. The primary focus is on larger projects, working directly with general contractors and customers, and being on-site frequently throughout the process. They also work with sales personnel to provide technical expertise, and interface with the administrative support team to maximize efficiency and productivity.
Required Experience
- A 2-year degree with 3 years of relevant experience, or a similar combination of experience and education
- A degree in construction management and/or experience in managing commercial construction projects is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective multi-tasking and project management skills
- A good mechanical aptitude
- A commitment to a culture of safety and quality
- Availability for occasional (10-20%) overnight travel
