About the role

Manages and directs subcontractors and employees to complete a project in accordance with plans or blueprints while ensuring the project is completed safely, defect-free, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain manufacturing operations business plans, including program requirements, labor hours, cycle times, production costs, and image.
  • Establish production and quality control standards, develop budgets and cost controls, and obtain data on product types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates.
  • Guide the development of the erection process plan, covering personnel, materials, subcontractors, facilities, tooling, and equipment needs.
  • Coordinate erection and field service activities with other organizational functions and suppliers to optimize production and resource utilization.
  • Review production and operating reports; resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to minimize costs and prevent delays.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to field operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Define responsibilities for assigned staff to meet business objectives.
  • Plan and schedule subcontractors.
  • Contribute to research and development of new and emerging products.
  • Train and ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure all established cost, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Provide input for the strategic plan of the erection division.

Requirements

  • OSHA 10-hour and OSHA 30-hour certifications; PCI Field Auditor certification.
  • College degree (4-year) preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 5 to 7+ years of prior or related experience.
  • 3 to 5+ years of supervisory experience.

Schedule

This is primarily a field position with minimal office time. Daily travel to job sites is required; occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary.
