Field Superintendent - Service
Main Responsibilities
As a Field Superintendent of Existing Installations (EI), you will oversee servicing, maintenance and repair of assigned units to meet customer and company standards for quality, safety and cost management. Support area objectives through effective project oversight and employee management.
Operations Management
- Build a safe and effective team environment by leading field technicians to ensure maintenance meets quality standards as well as contract requirements
- Coordinate routes, scheduling, ordering parts and verifying payroll accuracy while assuring profitability
- Partner with Area/Territory Operations Managers with implementation of company & industry best practices to achieve service financial and delivery metrics
Quality and Safety
Perform regular site inspections to deliver exceptional service, maintenance, warranty and repair offerings. Conduct Field Safety Audits at required intervals to ensure technicians understand and follow safe work practices
Employee development, planning & logistics
Manage logistics and implement preventive maintenance strategies; schedule quarterly customer site visits
Collaboration
Collaborate with the local sales team to estimate service orders; Maintain relationships with local IUEC business agents and communicate effectively to resolve disputes.
Partner with New Installation and Modernization Project Managers during contract conversions to ensure customer satisfaction
Problem Solving
Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and customer to investigate, resolve and address any operational challenges that may arise.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of technical leadership experience or elevator industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant work experience in the elevator industry or related field
- Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to manage sensitive employee relations issues
- Proven leadership skills
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to be on call as needed
Pay
Base Salary: $102,000 - $127,700
The above represents the typical salary range for this position. Revisions to the range may be considered based on your experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities.
