About the role

As a Field Superintendent - Existing Installation, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of all assigned units to meet customer and company requirements related to quality improvement, safety, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role supports area objectives and involves employee selection, training, and safety for all assigned projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure maintenance meets area and company quality standards and contract requirements.
  • Implement customer and company requirements for quality, performance reliability, and passenger safety for each project under supervision.
  • Support sales staff in estimating service orders, scheduling, executing orders, and resolving customer complaints.
  • Manage an ongoing program of project audits to ensure conformance with performance standards for quality, completeness, and safety.
  • Develop and implement programs for manpower selection, training, and performance appraisal to meet productivity and quality improvement objectives.
  • Implement route management strategies to ensure uniform application of preventive maintenance procedures while controlling manpower levels.
  • Foster teamwork and dedication to quality improvement among all employees.
  • Evaluate and initiate requests for tooling to support productivity improvements.
  • Maintain proactive relationships with the local IUEC business agent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or 3+ years of technical experience in the elevator industry or a related field.
  • Experience in installation and service of elevators/escalators is preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience with a unionized workforce is preferred.
  • Computer proficiency required; experience with Microsoft Office suite, Lotus Notes, and SAP is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Pay

Base salary range: $113,400 - $141,700. Revisions to the range may be considered based on experience, education, location, demonstrated skills, and alignment with business priorities. The listed compensation reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer-term incentives.
