Responsibilities
- Develop and/or administer mildly complex subcontracts in support of proposal and/or project requirements.
- Administer Subcontracts Field Management process as assigned.
- File appropriate record documents and follow filing rules.
- Subcontract Development (if assigned):
- Prepare subcontract-related bid documents and bidders list.
- Convey basic to moderately complex scoping information to subcontractors with oversight as needed.
- Manage the bid evaluation process, including distributing proposals, preparing bid tabulations, and collaborating on evaluations.
- Recommend selected bidder(s) and facilitate award decisions.
- Schedule, coordinate, and manage the negotiation process with oversight.
- Resolve simple and mildly complex commercial terms and conditions exceptions.
- Coordinate the award and contract conforming process.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with prequalification requirements.
- Subcontract Administration (if assigned):
- Run kickoff and progress meetings; draft and issue meeting minutes for assigned subcontracts.
- Draft and log formal correspondence for assigned subcontracts.
- Perform change management duties for assigned subcontracts.
- Review and process invoices.
- Close out assigned subcontracts.
Requirements
- Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; BA or BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Business, Technical, or related field preferred (relevant experience may substitute for a degree).
- Two (2) years of relevant industry experience.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
- Mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction disciplines, means and methods, and equipment.
- Knowledge of commercial terms and conditions.
- Familiarity with company processes relevant to the role.
Work Environment
- Normal office and field environment.
- Includes sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, seeing, and writing.
- May require reaching, kneeling, lifting, stooping, crouching, walking, and standing for extended periods.
