Field Services Tech II

About the role

Provide field support for deployed systems. Progressively contribute to the team and projects in an above-average manner. Participate in department or division improvement activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting to identify areas of opportunity, compliance, and implementation issues.
• Develop, research, and recommend test procedures.
• Utilize technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Write test plans and procedures, conduct tests, and document results.
• With engineering assistance, facilitate minor design projects from concept through production, including necessary modifications.
• Define technical approaches and tasks related to activities and minor projects.
• Perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and assist in other areas as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in lieu of education.
• 3+ years’ experience in aviation or electrical/mechanical fields preferred; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior military experience is preferred.

Skills

• Well-developed problem analysis and problem-solving techniques.

Physical Requirements

• Jobs will be performed while sitting or standing.
• Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials, occasionally in difficult work positions.
• Occasional lifting of items.
