About the role
Eurofins Environment Testing in Horsham, PA is seeking a full-time Supervisor / Dispatcher. The position involves coordinating and managing daily pick-up routes and schedules for field services, ensuring efficient operations and client satisfaction.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.
Pay
$25 - $30/hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly routes for routine pick-ups using routing software.
- Monitor and adjust schedules for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual pick-ups.
- Schedule and manage daily pick-up requests received via email or phone from clients and project managers.
- Monitor driver locations through GPS software.
- Adjust routes and schedules proactively to address delays, last-minute requests, and changes in priorities.
- Supervise the Field Services team to ensure routes and added stops are completed.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, drivers, and internal teams.
- Keep accurate records of routes, service adjustments, and client interactions.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements for route efficiency and service quality.
- Perform field sampling as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Success Metrics
- Minimal missed pick-ups or sampling appointments.
- Timely and clear communication with clients, drivers, and project managers.
- Efficiently optimized routes that maximize drivers' time and resources.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to adapt quickly and solve problems on the fly.
- Strong computer skills; experience with routing software is a plus but not required.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in handling client interactions, including delays and last-minute changes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Collaborative approach and comfort making decisions with support from management.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
- A valid state-issued driver’s license to drive company vehicles; clean driving record required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (samples will be in coolers packed in ice).
- Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Professional working proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, and speak in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in dispatch, logistics, or route coordination.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking.
