Field Services Supervisor

About the role

As a Field Services Supervisor you will provide oversight to field services employees and equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and satisfaction for both internal and external customers.

The position reports to the Field Office and is dispatched to projects in the region during the day, returning to the office at the end of the day.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times.
• Supervise site crew to ensure work is performed according to consultant and customer specifications in the most efficient manner possible.
• Oversee crew safety, ensuring employees wear proper safety equipment and follow safe work practices.
• Keep the customer informed of job progress, answer onsite questions, and maintain good customer relations.
• Complete daily documentation to track labor, equipment, supplies, and materials used for billing; keep the project manager informed of changes in usage from contract.
• Serve as backup/fill-in for any crew position as needed.
• Supervise emergency response teams as needed.
• Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, promotion, and discipline decisions as needed.
• Take on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization.

Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent (required).
• 3+ years of hazardous waste field experience (required).
• Due to potential exposure to atmospheres/waste/materials, this position requires individuals to be clean shaven at all times to don a respirator for protection.
