Field Services Manager

About the role

The Field Services Manager will supervise and perform environmental field service projects, respond to site emergencies, and provide leadership to field teams. This role involves overseeing confined space entries, UST/AST cleanings, sample collection, and emergency response coordination. The position requires travel throughout the West Region and participation in decontamination of laboratories, manufacturing spaces, and biosafety cabinets. The Field Services Manager will also support the sales team with job scope details and pricing while ensuring the safety and professionalism of field technicians.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform environmental field service projects as needed
• Respond to site emergencies and provide leadership during emergencies
• Oversee and participate in confined space entries
• Oversee and participate in onsite UST/AST cleanings
• Conduct sample collection and monitoring
• Operate a company vehicle
• Participate on emergency response teams as a coordinator
• Coordinate emergency response on a rotational basis
• Oversee safety of field technicians and jobsites
• Manage profitability of job assignments
• Oversee overall professionalism of crew and delivery of high-quality service
• Travel throughout the West Region in support of Field Service projects
• Oversee and participate in decontamination of laboratories and manufacturing spaces
• Provide job scope details and pricing in support of the sales team
• Oversee and participate in decontamination of biosafety cabinets
• Handle hazardous chemicals and biological waste while wearing personal protective equipment

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship
• Must have a reliable form of transportation
• Must consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC)
• Must participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) upon employment
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis
• Must be able to work overtime on a regular basis
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday)
• Must be able to report to the designated office within 1 hour during Emergency Response rotating shifts
• This role is considered safety-sensitive

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior relevant industry experience
• Active HAZWOPER 24- or 40-hour certification
• BSC decontamination experience

Pay

Pay Range: $110,000 USD - $120,000 USD
