About the role

Severe Service Specialists (Triple S) is a manufacturer’s representative and factory authorized automation facility for valves engineered to withstand severe applications. Our ADREM™ line of specialty valves are engineered for the demanding requirements of the chlor-alkali industry. We pride ourselves on knowing our customers' processes and being able to provide flow control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operates in the field and in the shop, on-call or provides technical support to assigned customers.
• Installs, configures, performs problem determination and maintains products and equipment at customer sites, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer's instructions, utilizing product and technical knowledge of equipment.
• Repairs or coordinates repair of worn or defective products or equipment.
• Performs skilled, technical work in the design, installation, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair for assigned product or process.
• When not busy with above, works in the warehouse pulling orders, automating valve assemblies, shipping, receiving, and other warehouse duties as needed.
• Service and repair of Limitorque electric actuators.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
• Install, set-up, and commission MOV’s, AOV’s, HOV’s.
• High level of electrical knowledge and theory.
• Buils, tests, troubleshoots, repairs and modifies equipment, parts, components and assemblies.
• Diagnostics and reports malfunctions.
• Learns and understands particular technical equipment; attends training and completes certification as required.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in Limitorque service and repair preferred.
• 5+ years experience in general valve and automation preferred.
• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Specialized skills training/certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Must continuously stand or walk or regularly require lifting/handling/carrying material or equipment of moderate weight (up to 50 pounds).
• Occasional overnight travel could be required.
