Field Service Technician (Part-time)

Position Summary

OPEX Corporation is seeking a part-time Field Service Technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mail opening, document scanning, and material handling equipment.
• Install and set up new equipment.
• Interact with customers to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Complete field service reports and keep customers updated on repair progress.
• Communicate with management and other personnel to analyze and address equipment performance issues.
• Submit weekly online timecards and expense reports.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Driver’s license, insurance, and a reliable vehicle.
• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds independently.
• Physical ability to maneuver job sites, including small spaces around equipment.
• Skills to squat, bend, kneel, reach overhead, and reach forward as needed.
