About the role
The Field Service Technician provides superior and professional field service support for all E3 products. This includes both service calls on customer locations and in-house service performed. Providing product operating instructions, training, and best practices to all E3 customers. Completing service ticket inputs and managing service parts inventory. Maintaining a clean and safe working environment including shop assets and company vehicles. Providing product service support 24 / 7 / 365 when scheduled to work.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively to customers, E3 management, and all employees
- Operate all E3 equipment and vehicles according to E3 policies and procedures
- Travel to customer locations to perform product repairs, PM’s, exchanges, start-ups or technical support
- Perform in-house product repairs, PM’s, and other services
- Complete all service ticket requirements
- Complete all service inventory management requirements to assure inventory accuracy
- Comply to all customer and E3 HSE compliance requirements
- Comply to all E3 and customer training requirements
- Complete all required expense reporting
- Report all HSE incidents, close call or non-compliance issues
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- No DMV major moving violations and/or DUI/DWI convictions within the previous 36 months
- Must have prior field experience in a related field
- Hydraulics and electrical experience preferred
- Technical Problem-Solving and Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude
- Able to pull a tandem axle trailer
- 50% travel/overnight stay
- Good with MS Office programs
- Able to work autonomously
- Superior organizational skills; strong attention to detail; excellent time management skills and commitment to deadlines
- Demonstrates professional work characteristics
Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering or Other Technical Field with 5+ years of applied experience
- Experience directly related to the hydraulic fracturing industry
- Experience working in the Bakken on directional drilling operations
- Technical Problem-Solving and Mechanical/Electrical Aptitude
- Interpersonal management skills
- Attitude to face all challenges presented
- Experience with ISO based Quality System
- Experience with API/ASME codes
- Experience with automation and industrial control systems
- Strong computer and administration skills
- Familiarity with P&ID’s, build instructions and CAD principles (Solidworks skills preferred)
