Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
- Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
- Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc.
- Submit prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.
- Follows safe work practices according to company policy.
- Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
- Daily travel to customer sites.
Requirements
- HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
- 2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.
- This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel.
Qualifications
- A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.
Skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of Hach products and services.
Benefits
- Training period: comprehensive 10-week training period - 8 weeks in the field working side by with a dedicated trainer and 2 weeks classroom-based training in Loveland, CO.

- After completion of training, your schedule will consist of 4 shifts per week at 10-hour days based on workload demand.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $29.00 - $31.00 USD per hour. This job is also eligible for Incentive Pay.
Schedule
This position requires daily travel to customer sites, typically within a 2-hour radius of the home office. On average, 65-75% of weekly travel will include overnight stays. Occasional travel to other states within the region is expected, with trips lasting up to one week at a time. US ONLY.
