Field Service Technician I - Riverside, CA (4-Day Workweeks & Company Vehicle)

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.
• Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.
• Work in a wide variety of municipal and industrial settings, including but not limited to drinking water & wastewater treatment facilities, refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, food & beverage processing facilities, etc.
• Sets up and executes administrative activities in support of service visits.
• Daily travel to customer sites.

Requirements

• HS Diploma required; Associates/technical degree preferred, or a combination of education and experience.
• Mechanical aptitude is a must - experience with preventative maintenance and technical diagnostics/repair.
• 2+ years of field service experience and/or customer-facing roles preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to rent a car and/ or hotel rooms under applicable state law are required.
• This position requires occasional rental of vehicles or booking of hotel rooms for business travel.

Pay

The compensation range for this role is $29.00 - $31.00 USD per hour.

Schedule

This position requires daily travel to customer sites, typically within a 2-hour radius of the home office. On average, 70% of weekly travel will include overnight stays. Occasional travel to other states within the region is expected, with trips lasting up to one week at a time.
