Field Service Technician I
About the Role
As a Field Service Technician at Canon USA, you will deliver exceptional service and maintain Canon-supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards. This customer-facing role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring elevated efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with accurate documentation and record-keeping.
- Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate field, shop, or on-site maintenance.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and assigned Canon property.
- Demonstrate strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines to meet branch/district metric targets.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Ability to travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Must obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to access their premises.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain active (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling) more than 50% of the time.
- Compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and related measures.
Pay
$19.00 - $26.31 hourly.

Schedule
Full-Time On Site – This position requires full-time presence at your assigned office(s), worksite(s), or territory on scheduled work days.
