Field Service Technician I

Position Summary

B. Braun Medical Inc., a leader in infusion therapy and pain management, seeks Field Service Technicians to support the medical industry by cleaning, refurbishing, sharpening, and repairing precision surgical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Repair surgical instruments with the guidance of Field Service Technicians II and Senior technicians
• Build and maintain a positive relationship with the customer
• Manage customer interactions to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Partner with Sales team(s) to grow business in assigned territory
• Accurate and timely repairs of precision surgical instruments
• Manage all on-site repairs, maintenance, and testing of assigned instruments and equipment
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Produce timely daily work orders
• Update customer reports as needed
• Cooperate with sales and technical teams to share information across the organization
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of work area and company equipment
• Comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual
• Embody the Company’s Vision, Mission, and Values
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience/Training/Education/Etc
• Required: High school diploma
• Desirable: Technical degree
• Clear communication to customers, colleagues, and management
• Occasional overtime and changes in shift scheduling are required to suit customer needs
• Computer knowledge is required

Salary Range

The salary range for this role is $30-$45/hr. The targeted range takes into account a range of factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The range provided is a reasonable estimate.
