Field Service Technician I
About the role
The Field Service Technician position at Canon USA is looking for someone who can provide exceptional service and support to customers while maintaining and repairing Canon-supported products.
Responsibilities
- Report product failure trends and serviceability issues with necessary supported documentation.
- Ensure accurate information and record keeping.
- Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
- Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills.
- Maintain the performance of assigned machines.
- Facilitate performance that helps achieve the branch/district’s overall metric targets.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to comply with customer policies and protocols, including potential COVID-19 vaccination requirements.

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time.
Skills & Expertise
- Customer-facing role compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
- Ability to travel and lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay
$19.00 - 26.31 hourly.
Schedule
This role is eligible for a transportation allowance.
