About the role
Aerzen USA Corp. is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service and repair, with a focus on positive displacement blowers, hybrid blowers, screw compressors, and turbo blowers.
Responsibilities
- Install, assemble, service, and repair Aerzen products at customer sites
- Provide prompt, professional, and high-quality service to customers
- Perform startups, equipment inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance service on all Aerzen products
- Represent Aerzen in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all safety requirements
- Configure, calibrate, and maintain control, measurement, and indicating instrumentation
- Install and terminate electrical, pneumatic, and fluid connections
- Analyze and correct communication issues, properly address TCP/IP networks and RS-485 communications
- Perform repairs and assembly on Aerzen products, disassemble, assess damage, evaluate failures, and diagnose problems
- Utilize defined procedures and a standard rebuild kit
- Read, understand, and use equipment diagrams, checklists, engineering drawings, and other process documentation
- Communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations, and service options, listen to customer concerns, and provide status updates during service calls and at completion
- Assist engineering in plant design, modifications, and hazard analysis
- Complete written repair reports to document cause of failure, description of work performed, materials consumed, condition of equipment as received and as returned to the customer
- Conduct customer training on Aerzen products when onsite
Requirements
- High School Diploma or associate degree in electronics technology, or associated field
- Over 4 years of field experience in field service and repair
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams, use micrometer, dial indicator, feeler gauges, and coordinate measuring tools
- Proper use of forklift, ladder, hand tools, power tools, welding, calibrated measurement devices, hydraulic equipment
- Clean driving record

Pay
$25.00 - $35.00 hourly
Schedule
Full-time position with 100% travel, often four nights away weekly, on a continuous basis.
