Field Service Technician, Experienced

About the role

dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Oklahoma City, OK. The Field Service Technician is responsible for the installation and service of various doors, equipment, and control devices. This position may also service or perform preventative maintenance on automatic doors and related equipment.

This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. A positive result for any substance on our panel — including marijuana — will disqualify applicants, regardless of state or local laws. dormakaba is a state and federal contractor.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on a range of automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
• Communicate with sales and service management about customer needs and sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate project and/or service data through diligent and timely use of all documentation and technical data
• Primarily work on service calls, and will also assist with installations as needed

Requirements

• Valid current driver’s license
• Physical requirements, including the ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead

Qualifications

• AAADM certification (preferred)
• 1+ years’ experience with automatic door installation/maintenance (preferred)

Pay

Base Salary $25/hr. - $35/hr. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
