Field Service Technician Experienced
dormakaba is seeking a Field Service Technician based in Birmingham, AL to install and service doors, equipment, and control devices, including preventative maintenance on automatic doors and related systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform corrective service and preventative maintenance on automated access doors and equipment in a professional and customer-oriented manner
- Communicate with sales and service management about customer needs and sales opportunities
- Maintain accurate project and/or service data through diligent and timely use of all documentation and technical data
- Primarily work on service calls, with occasional assistance on installations as needed
Requirements
- Valid current driver’s license
- Physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand, stoop, crawl, twist, bend, push, pull, climb, and work overhead
Qualifications
- AAADM certification (preferred)
- 1+ years’ experience with automatic door installation/maintenance (preferred)
Pay
Base salary range: $32/hr. - $42/hr. (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and market alignment)
