About the role
Join IGT as a Field Service Technician and become a key member of a team responsible for supporting casino gaming equipment and technology at customer locations throughout the San Pablo area. In this customer-facing role, you'll troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain gaming systems while building strong relationships with casino personnel and ensuring the highest level of service and uptime.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers on operational and maintenance aspects of gaming equipment and systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, mechanical, and network-related issues
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on gaming equipment
- Complete equipment installations, upgrades, and site surveys
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers on service-related matters
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation for parts and equipment
- Complete service reports and required paperwork in a timely manner
- Support nearby casino locations as business needs require
- Participate in an on-call rotation providing after-hours and weekend support
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of technical field service, electronics, gaming, networking, or related experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Customer-facing experience with excellent communication skills
- Experience working with hardware, software, and networking technologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to obtain and maintain required gaming licenses
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment using appropriate tools and equipment
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities

Pay
The starting compensation range is $49,320 - $67,815 USD, with flexibility to adjust higher or lower based on the full scope of qualifications.
