About the role

Position requires you to live within the Allentown, PA and surrounding area.

• Engage in a comprehensive ~3 month in-field and classroom training program to ensure you have the skills and tools to be successful.
• Once trained, you will travel to customer sites in your region to install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate the most advanced measuring instruments in the world.
• Work hands-on to learn new skills on high-tech CMM’s (Coordinate Measuring Machines) utilizing mechanical and electronic aptitude.
• Document service work and maintain accurate service records.
• Work independently while representing the company in a fast-paced and innovative environment.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School graduate, completed GED, or equivalent.
• Or: Tech School, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, and the like.
• Or: Training and experience from a Military Technical School.
• Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment.
• Microsoft operating system knowledge is required.
• Capable of unassisted physical lift of one article weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Able and willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per work week (regular + OT).
• Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment.
• Valid Driver License required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems.
• Previous CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) installation and troubleshooting experience is preferred however not required.

Pay

• Competitive Base Pay offered (variables include job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, and complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent).
• OT: Average OT is 10 hours a week and paid out at time and a half—we basically pay for your travel time!
• Annual bonus program: eligible for an additional bonus at the end of the year.
• Company vehicle—can use it for personal use as well!
