Field Service Technician
Job Summary
The Field Service Technician will execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves system troubleshooting, handling mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and resolving safety issues.
Responsibilities

- Function in a team environment, usually under direct supervision but capable of working independently when necessary
Requirements
- Some travel required (20%-80%) with overnight stays and potential multi-site work
- Driving requirements: valid driver’s license, CDL (Class A or B), applicable endorsements, TWIC, DISA clearances, DOT medical card, clean driving record, and experience with towing and backing large service trucks
- Education and experience: HS diploma or equivalent, capable of obtaining a CDL, 0 to 2 years of technical work experience preferred (within industrial water filtration systems)
Skill Requirements
- Electrical, mechanical, diesel, and fusion experience based on business unit
- Work independently without direct supervision
- Technically proficient
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and smart devices
- Customer service experience
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate insights clearly
- Experience deriving insights from customer experiences to produce outcomes and solve problems
