Job Summary

The Field Service Technician will execute field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role involves system troubleshooting, handling mechanical, electrical, and diesel equipment, conducting preventative maintenance, managing parts inventory, and identifying and resolving safety issues.

Responsibilities

Function in a team environment, usually under direct supervision but capable of working independently when necessary

Requirements

Some travel required (20%-80%) with overnight stays and potential multi-site work
Driving requirements: valid driver’s license, CDL (Class A or B), applicable endorsements, TWIC, DISA clearances, DOT medical card, clean driving record, and experience with towing and backing large service trucks
Education and experience: HS diploma or equivalent, capable of obtaining a CDL, 0 to 2 years of technical work experience preferred (within industrial water filtration systems)

Skill Requirements

Electrical, mechanical, diesel, and fusion experience based on business unit
Work independently without direct supervision
Technically proficient
Proficient in Microsoft Office and smart devices
Customer service experience
Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
Ability to synthesize technical information and communicate insights clearly
Experience deriving insights from customer experiences to produce outcomes and solve problems
