Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with Chemical distribution equipment on-site and/or on the manufacturing floor.
- Train in plumbing, welding, electrical, instrumentation and controls wiring pertaining to this chemical equipment.
- Start working OJT (on-the-job training) in the manufacturing facility and then travel to the project site for installation and start-up of equipment.
- Perform mechanical and electrical tasks related to chemical distribution systems.
- Work with hazardous chemicals and learn the proper PPE required and Safety procedures for each site.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma, AAS or Equivalent Military Experience, and certifications or 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Willingness and ability to work with hazardous chemicals, following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Able to work within a team group and also perform individual tasks once trained with little supervision.
- Previous Semiconductor experience.
- May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.
