Field Service Technician

About the role

Culligan Water is seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in plumbing, HVAC, or construction, but training will be provided to the right individual. This role involves installing, servicing, and repairing water treatment equipment in various settings and weather conditions. The successful candidate will enjoy working outdoors, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair water softeners, filtration systems, and other high-quality water treatment equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure water systems operate optimally.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, resolving them promptly and efficiently in the field.
• Deliver and exchange salt, equipment, and supplies while providing reliable, on-time service.
• Create positive customer experiences by answering questions, educating customers about their systems, and building long-lasting relationships.
• Manage inventory and ensure the cleanliness and readiness of tools and equipment for each job.

Requirements

• Experience in field service, plumbing, HVAC, construction, or a related trade is a plus, but training will be provided to the right candidate.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a talent for troubleshooting and fixing equipment.
• A valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to meet company insurance requirements.
• The ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, enjoying helping people and representing the Culligan brand.
• A self-starter who can manage a daily route, stay organized, and work independently.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required.
