About the role

The NOxCare Field Specialist will manage local service requirements for the NOxCARE delivery device, providing critical customer service support and liaising between Clinical Sales and Clinical Educators.

Responsibilities

  • Safely manage service requirements for NOxCARE delivery device to minimize supply interruptions to hospital customers and patients.
  • Go on-site to customer locations to troubleshoot and repair device issues.
  • Serve as the liaison between Clinical Sales and Clinical Educators to ensure customer needs are met from a product service perspective.
  • Start-up or on-board new customers, handle Noxivent product replenishment deliveries, and replace device deliveries.
  • Operate under minimal supervision, reporting to an off-site manager.
  • Support day-to-day NOxCARE equipment maintenance and service levels to customers.
  • Fully understand the NOxCARE device and troubleshoot, resolve, and repair issues.
  • Frequently travel to customer sites, communicate professionally with hospital staff, manage technical device issues, and address customer concerns.
  • Perform accurate documentation using internal device/system logs and understand device/system settings.
  • Perform monthly maintenance, calibration, and sensor changes as necessary.
  • Maintain all regulatory and required company documentation for device maintenance, deliveries, and shipments.
  • Coordinate packing and shipment of devices requiring off-site maintenance.
  • Order new, replacement devices to minimize customer downtime.
  • Adhere to all manufacturer guidelines for NOxCARE device maintenance.
  • Maintain sufficient NOxCARE inventory to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain sufficient parts inventory for device repair.
  • Deliver recurring orders of Noxivent cylinders to customers.
  • Participate in "Go Live" activities to ensure inventory and equipment are delivered, unpackaged, and set up on time at customer sites.
  • Receive incoming calls during off-shift hours from customers, which may require on-site visits to resolve issues immediately.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
  • Good driving record required.
  • Minimum of one-year equipment repair experience; biomedical equipment repair experience preferred.
  • Minimum of one-year experience in customer-facing and/or customer service role preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Strong communication skills, including written communication.
  • Able to lift 50-70 pounds as needed.
  • Able to bend, stoop, squat, and lift numerous times daily.
  • Able to travel 75% +/- of time (limited overnight travel).
