About the Job

Throne is looking for a full time Field Service Technician to join our team, reporting to the Seattle Operations Manager. You will be responsible for performing a variety of repairs that address electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or construction related issues. As a field technician in Seattle, you will provide on-the-job support to other technicians, prioritize daily tasks, and assist with training & onboarding of new technicians. This role requires a strong background in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics, and remodeling, along with specific abilities such as reading electrical schematics and testing electrical components.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, identify and repair Thrones on-site as issues arise
  • Prioritize and assign tasks to yourself and other field service technicians
  • Interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to guide installations, repairs and upgrades
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, including documentation of repairs, replacements, and inspections.
  • Maintain the working condition of Throne Units
  • Organize and Maintain the Warehouse, Vehicles and Tools

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in plumbing, electrical work, construction basics, or remodeling.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Demonstrated ability to use tools and equipment properly and safely.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues.
  • Knowledge of testing procedures for electrical components, including voltage, continuity, and current tests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends or outside of regular business hours as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Can-do attitude and passion for Throne’s mission
  • Experience operating a forklift, ideally in outdoor environments
  • Certification or license in plumbing, electrical work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with smart technologies or IoT (Internet of Things) devices.
  • Prior experience in the portable sanitation industry.
