Field Service Technician
About the role
The Field Service Engineer (FSE) will support Patient Simulators at various medical-related customer sites such as hospitals and universities. The primary responsibility is to install and perform maintenance on these simulators.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain Patient Simulators at different medical-related customer sites.
- Ensure the simulators are working properly by performing preventive maintenance.
- Travel within the greater area of their specified market, driving up to 5 hours or flying longer distances.
- Drive to and stay overnight at customer sites as needed.
- Take an IKM assessment to qualify for the role.
Requirements
- Base-level IT knowledge (experience is preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, IP addressing)
- Must be well-versed with Windows 11
- MUST BE FLEXIBLE TO TRAVEL MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
- Good electronics aptitude is a huge plus
- Strong customer service skills (this is key)
- Ideal for recent graduates; difficult to do this role while attending classes or having other weekly commitments
- Reliable form of transportation
Qualifications
- You will be required to take an IKM assessment to qualify.
- The simulators run on a Windows 11 operating system and are connected to the client’s network.
- There is a 13-week training period that includes classroom training and weekly field shadowing.
- All travel expenses are covered by the client.

Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
