Field Service Technician
About the role
A large healthcare organization is creating a new IT Field Support Team dedicated to supporting clinic locations throughout the Jackson area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support, customer service, problem-solving, and working directly with end users.
Responsibilities
- Escalated IT Support: Handle hardware and software issues escalated from the Help Desk.
- Troubleshoot and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and application issues.
- Provide onsite support to clinic staff.
- Project Work: Hardware deployments and upgrades, new clinic technology setups, computer replacements and refreshes, equipment moves and installations, other IT infrastructure and desktop support projects.
- Rounding (Proactive Customer Support): Regularly visit clinics to identify and resolve issues before they become bigger problems.
Requirements
- Top Requirements: Hardware & Software Support Experience, Previous Experience Troubleshooting desktops and laptops, Installing and configuring equipment, Supporting software applications, Resolving end-user technical issues.
- Strong Customer Service Skills: Enjoy helping people, Communicates well with non-technical users, Patient and professional, Builds positive relationships with doctors, nurses, and clinic staff.
- Coachable & Eager to Learn: Follows directions well, Takes initiative, Wants to grow technically, Works well on a team.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $22.00/hr. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. Work Environment
Fast-paced healthcare environment, Supporting outpatient clinics and medical facilities, High volume of devices and support requests, May occasionally need to enter patient rooms when assisting staff, May occasionally need to enter operating rooms if support is required, Significant walking and onsite support throughout clinic locations.
