Field Service Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement effective solutions.
• Identify and address safety concerns involving both company-owned and customer-owned equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional customer service.
• Work at multiple customer locations and adapt to varying technologies and job site conditions.
• Care for company equipment and property.
• Serve as the first line of technical support for customers in the field.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of technical or field service experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer service experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and smart devices.
• Able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, hear, and see throughout the workday.
• Frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including temperatures ranging from 0°F to 120°F.
• Ability to work in environments with dust, dirt, concrete surfaces, and elevated noise levels requiring hearing protection.
• Ability to operate a computer and communicate effectively by phone and in writing.

Travel and Work Environment

• Local travel to customer sites, meetings, and training seminars is required.
• This position requires flexibility to work from multiple job sites throughout the Stone Mountain area and other locations across Georgia.
• Must be comfortable riding as a passenger in a company vehicle when traveling between job sites.

Pay

$25.00 / hr

Schedule

Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Overtime available on Fridays and for rain make-up days
