Job Summary

Join us as a Field Service Technician and make a difference in customer service. You'll leverage your technical expertise to troubleshoot mechanical issues, travel extensively, and work with advanced equipment while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on Equipment Lifecycle Support: Prepare for jobs, troubleshoot, repair equipment, handle warranty work, and maintain annual inspections and emergency calls.
  • On-Site Operations & Safety Compliance: Maintain safe work habits, enforce safety rules, and keep required MSHA certifications and training up to date.
  • Documentation & Continuous Quality Improvement: Maintain accurate field reports and CRM documentation, launch internal quality cases, and communicate root causes, corrective actions, and product feedback to engineering and product management.
  • Relationship Building & Technical Training: Foster strong internal relationships, train dealers and clients on-site, and deliver elite customer service.
  • Travel, Logistics & Communication: Approximately 50% domestic travel (with occasional international assignments), maintain open communication with the Field Service Manager, and promptly report equipment and tool maintenance needs.

Qualifications

  • Technical & Mechanical Expertise: Strong mechanical repair, troubleshooting, and analytical skills; solid background in electronics and computer knowledge; ability to read and interpret complex schematics; comfortable working on and around heavy machinery.
  • Sector Knowledge: Essential industry experience; direct familiarity with crushing, screening, conveying, and washing equipment is a major plus.
  • Professionalism & Communication: Team-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and customer-first dedication; clear, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Education & Credentials: High school graduate or equivalent; tech/trade school training preferred; valid State Driver’s License required.
