About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Field Service Dispatcher I to handle initial and intra-day scheduling in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will thrive under pressure and ensure efficient coordination of field service operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of phone calls, emails, and internal messages.
- Execute tasks assigned by the Division Manager and Project/Service Managers accurately and on time.
- Initiate and create work orders for field service technicians.
- Review candidates and conduct phone interviews.
- Dispatch service employees to projects as needed.
- Ensure all trip assignments are covered daily.
- Debrief technicians at the end of their calls.
- Review completed work orders with technicians for accuracy before invoicing.
- Maintain knowledge of the assigned market to provide optimal directions for technicians.
- Identify opportunities for team improvement and present ideas to supervisors.
- Interact with customers to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Ensure administrative processes comply with organizational requirements.
- Assist with billing and filing as needed.
- Provide administrative support for project planning, coordination, and documentation.
- Deliver basic status reports to managers and respond to service requests from internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Strong detail-oriented mindset and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Excel.
- Strong analytical and data entry skills.
- Pleasant telephone manner and professional demeanor.
- Proven dependability and strong work ethic.
- Experience in scheduling and routing is a plus.
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, with potential for extended workdays.
Schedule
This is a temporary role from August 24, 2026, to October 30, 2026. Priority will be given to the following technicians if available: Kenneth Javier and Matthew Oriol. If neither is available, Benjamin Guiang may be considered.
