Field Service Technician

About the role
Field Service Technicians drive out to client sites throughout the Greater Central Valley to assist with new start-ups, preventative maintenance, and customer support of automated sorting machines. Field Service Technicians also travel to other Western states about 15-20% of the time with overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot issues with electrical power circuits, PLC circuits, and digital and analog circuits
- Test new equipment installs
- Read schematics and use test equipment such as voltmeters
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person
- Knowledge of computer hardware and configurations
Requirements
- 2 years of college or equivalent in an electronics-based curriculum
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Field Service Technician
- Fluent in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record
Physical Requirements
- Frequently stand, bend, stoop, crawl, climb ladders, and work in elevated places
- Occasionally lift, push, pull 40 lbs. or more
Pay
Pay rate is between $26 and $32 per hour, with an annual range up to $62,500, based on experience.
Schedule
9/80 work schedule: 7am–5pm with every other Friday off.
