Field Service Technician

About the role

The VERIFI Field Service Technician will interface regularly with plant management, batch plant operators, concrete mixer truck drivers, and truck maintenance management and mechanics. Based at home, the candidate will spend approximately 80% of their time as the only VERIFI employee at the customer sites, requiring independent work.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze system performance reports to determine problem areas and develop resolutions.
• Coordinate problem resolution with other employees as needed, serving as the local liaison and first line of contact to the customer.
• Install, maintain, and repair Verifi systems, including embedded sensors, cloud-based analytics, and admixture dispensing equipment.
• Aid Field Sales Representatives in contract negotiations and maintenance.
• Understand customer satisfaction impacts and contribute to achieving corporate goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma preferred with Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical focus.
• Broad knowledge of computer systems configuration, mechanical, pneumatic, 12/24 volt DC electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to learn new technology and processes quickly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented, particularly with record-keeping.
• Experience with hand and power tools, meters, gauges, and emergency and service repairs.
• Experience in field service type work and the Ready Mix Concrete industry.
• Flexible work hours, overnight travel, and ability to respond to short notice project work and emergency service.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of patent law and data science.

Benefits

Includes a comprehensive Total Rewards package, including a national pay range of $52,500 - $82,500 per year, with a targeted bonus of 8% of base salary. Additional benefits include health and wellness programs, retirement plans, and volunteer days.
