Field Service Technician
Job Description
You performs all the necessary tests, repairs, and maintenance of the technical installations at customer sites (this can be done national and/or international).
As part of the helpdesk team you provide telephone support to end users and integrators in a limited 24/7 time schedule in a rotating schedule.
You are responsible for PLC software (Beckhoff) configuration and live testing. Affinity with software is recommended.
You assist the Commissioning team during installations.
You detect commercial Service opportunities at current clients.
Travelling across US will be part of the schedule, with a few overnights a week.
Projects across the country doesn't scare you off
Qualifications
- You have a bachelor's degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience
- You’re willing and able to travel to project sites across the USA and Canada consistently; your travel percentage averages 90%
- Projects abroad do not scare you off
- Computer skills: MS Office + Teams
- You are sociable, eager to learn, driven and cheerful
- You are not afraid of heights

Hourly Range
$30 to $35 an hour
Additional Information
Candidate must be based near Northern Ohio, or Toledo or Cleveland area —preferably within reasonable proximity to a major airport to support frequent travel.
