A Day In the Life

As a Field Service Technician you will maintain modular equipment in the field at customer sites and at the branch. You will perform problem solving maintenance for but not limited to mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. You will also perform routine maintenance, cleaning and construction in the field of modular buildings. Perform trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance service, repairs and construction in areas of but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, painting, flooring, HVAC, roofing and electrical
  • Responsible for the safety, quality and productivity of themselves at all customer locations
  • Responsible for positive interface with the customer and ensuring the company’s reputation is improved with every customer contact
  • Maintain inspection log(s) for equipment/vehicle and properly report exceptions; ensure equipment is maintained to Company and safety standards
  • Safely perform all tasks and understand Company’s safety policies and procedures
  • Deliver a high-quality output consistent with the Company’s construction standards
  • Operate Company vehicle
  • Read and understand blueprints, schematics, procedures and company specific work orders, work instructions and floor plans provided
  • Work outside in variable weather conditions
  • Use both manual and power tools and follow operating guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Must Haves

  • Prior experience in construction or related work required; basic electrical, plumbing and flooring with an emphasis to learn HVAC
  • Valid driver’s license

Nice to Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • HVAC training and experience combined with an EPA certification preferred
