About the role
Mettler Toledo Rainin is seeking Field Service Technicians to support our customer sites across the country. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for testing, cleaning, repairing, reassembling, and calibrating pipettes to ensure they meet our quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Conducting mechanical and electronic measurements, recording results, and inspecting serviced pipettes against established quality and performance parameters.
- Reassembling and calibrating pipettes to meet manufacturer standards, ensuring all repair work meets necessary guidelines.
- Prioritizing orders and expediting them through our database system, following customers' specific order requests.
- Focusing on meeting our service levels and turnaround time commitments, which may include working overtime as needed.
- Completing all related reports and data entry into our automated system.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED with at least three months of related work experience in manufacturing, production, or packaging.
- Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes is desirable.
- A strong mechanical background.
- A commitment to company safety policies to maintain effective and safe operations.
- A willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including overnight travel.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25,000 - $40,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Typically, this role involves a combination of day and evening shifts, with some overnight travel required.
