Field Service Technician

Duties

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair forklifts, pallet jacks, dock equipment, aerial lifts, compactors, and other industrial equipment.
• Identify and recommend items in need of repair.
• Provide superior customer service.
• Work safely, following all safety policies and procedures.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Three or more years’ experience of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience diagnosing and repairing in the Material Handling, Automotive, Heavy Machinery, or Diesel industries is preferred.
• Must be able to read and understand wiring and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Must be fluent in English. Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Competently use mobile phone and personal computer.
• Personal hand tools.
• Valid Driver's License without recent major violations.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
