Field Service Technician

Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. This position is a crucial part of our service operations, providing expert technical service and support to our clients. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in PLC, three-phase motors, machinery repair, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, and maintenance.

• Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and equipment, including PLC, three-phase motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems.
• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and faults, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients, effectively addressing their queries and concerns.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date service records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols during all field operations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement strategies for machinery efficiency improvement.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Field Service Technician in the engineering industry or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with PLC, three-phase motors, machinery repair, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Proven experience in machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Excellent technical and mechanical skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions under pressure.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical clients.
• Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively for fieldwork.
• Must live within one hour of a major airport.

Salary:
