Field Service Technician

About the role

The Field Service Technician provides field technical support for IR products, focusing on customer satisfaction and meeting 24/7 technical service needs. This position involves developing a collaborative relationship with IR to enhance technical service knowledge and improving customer response time.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support during repair and installation of IR equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and report incidents promptly.
• Engage in sales calls, technical walk-downs, and solution delivery to customers.
• Complete and submit reports such as Service Reports, Customer Call Reports, Expense Reports, and Time Sheets accurately.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance service quality and accuracy.
• Maintain proficiency in vibration analysis and laser alignment equipment.
• Generate sales leads and update CRM systems to enhance customer relationships and expand IR’s installed base.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant technical experience, including millwright, maintenance, engineering, or similar roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• An assigned vehicle with a valid driver's license and passing a motor vehicle background check.

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

• Up to 80% travel, with potential for international travel.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000 annually. The pay range reflects a wide range of factors including skills, experience, licensure, certifications, and geographic location.
